How can a True Inner World Face the Absurd Life? ——A Contrast between YU Hua's Expedition in 18 and BI Fei-yu's Village Wang on the Earth

YU Hua has been considered as one of the most radical avant-garde writers. BI Yu-fei's creation has also been influenced by such avant-garde literature. The author of this paper has found some comparability between the two works, YU Hua's Expedition in 18 and BI Yu-fei's Village Wang on the Earth in either content and style. And the two fictions made a deep exploration in narrative revolution, linguistic experiment and people's existence. Accordingly, the author finds it necessary to interpret similarities and differences between the two fictions from three aspects: exploration of their subjects, comparison of absurdity and anti-satirical devices in an attempt to have a deeper understanding of the works' connotation: seeking for inward truth in an absurd world.
