Aesthetic Education as a Core Concept of Children's Art Education

  • Aesthetics is one of the values of art, and the fundamental one. The cultivation value of the art education has to be realized through aesthetics. In the process of the children's art education, aesthetics can perfect their aesthetic psychology, improve the harmonious development of their sociality, aesthetic ability and scientificity, and promote the overall and harmonious development of them. In such education, we should construct the system of the art education with the aesthetics as the core concept, compile the courses with it. Further, we should borrow and absorb the excellent concepts and methods of the foreign art education system, and permeate them into the practical education when strengthening the artistic appreciation.
