  • Under the influence of the conception “articles with those of Qin and Han Dynasties as examples and poems with those of Tang Dynasty as samples”, the canonization of Tang poems reached its peak in Ming Dynasty. And people's enthusiasm to sort out and collect Tang poems met its climax. ZHOU Ru-deng's A Classified Collection of Tang Poems as an Aid to Daily Trifles has its unique status. This paper has talked about its special value when people of Ming Dynasty collected Tang poems from three perspectives: its sources of materials, classification and ZHOU's psychology.
