Constraints and Transcendence: An Interpretation of Ecological Dilemma and Sustainable Development under the Capital Logics

As the value which can produce the surplus one, the capital takes the pursuit for profits and appreciation as its fundamental logics. In the evolution of such logics, humans exploit nature and mines without hesitation in order to get the maximal profits and appreciation. This eventually has led to the deterioration of the ecological environment. It can be said that the material production with the capital logics as its driving force has let the humans trapped in the ecological dilemma while it creates great material wealth. In such dilemma, the sustainable social development has been constrained. It is of great help for the transcendence over the capital logics to analyze the dilemma constrained by such logics based on the specific situation of social development of China in order to achieve the sustainable development of humans, economy, ecology and society.
