A Review of Feature Column “Studies of Ming and Qing Novels” of Journal of Nejiang Normal University in Past Ten Years and Its Prospect

The feature column “Studies of Ming and Qing Novels” of Journal of Neijiang Normal University was started in 2005. To the end of 2004, it has ten years history. Its development can be divided into two phases: the first five years as the starting period in which it got support and help from some masters and the second five years as the developing period in which the amount of articles published is three times as that in the first period. Moreover, the influence of this column has been increasing in the academic circle. It is aimed to become a famous academic column in five to ten years. For this purpose, this journal plans to take measures as follows: running the column with support from masters, employment of part-time editors, promotion of the connection with reprinting organizations and increase in expense.
