SWOT-based Research on Tourism Resources Development of Fengjie, Chongqing

Based on the investigation and the analysis of tourism resources in Fengjie, Chongqing, a summarization was made of the tourist resources classification characteristics. By using the method of SWOT, the four aspects of the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges faced with the tourism development in Fengjie were subjected to an in-depth examination. Countermeasures and suggestions were proposed for the sustainable development of tourism resources, which includes the strengthening of governmental function, the construction of supporting facilities, a still greater emphasis placed on tourism products, the stepping up of publicity campaign, and greater attention put on eco-environmental protection and so on.
