The Design of College Graduates' Employment Justice Questionnaire

  • Based on literature survey and the results of an open questionnaire, an initial questionnaire for measuring the college graduates' employment justice was developed, which was then adopted to test 186 graduates for the first time and the test was repeated a second time for another 221 graduates. The results of the two were both subjected to an Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA). Further, 872 graduates completed the formal questionnaire. And then, the reliabilities and validities of this questionnaire were tested through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. The exploratory factor analysis revealed that college graduates' employment justice is comprised of eight factors, which are employment opportunity, information release, comprehensive assessment employment proceedings, employment basis, treatment, potential interference, self-display. The result of the confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the formal questionnaire was acceptable. The eight-dimension model has a high degree of fitting and with a rather satisfactory reliability and validity, which can serve as a useful tool to measure the employment justice of college graduates.
