Graphical Abstract
Abstract
In order to explore the relationship between social anxiety, psychological capital and career decision-making difficulties among college students, 207 college students were investigated with Interaction Anxiousness Scale, the Questionnaires of Psychological Capital and Career Decision-making Difficulties Scale. The results show that:(1)social anxiety was positively related to career decision-making difficulties and negatively related to psychological capital;(2)psychological capital partially mediated the effect of social anxiety on career decision-making difficulties; once psychological capital enters in the regression equation as a predictor, then the index of the effect of social anxiety on career decision-making difficulties drops from 0.350 to 0.250(t=3.047,P<0.05).
