Why did MAO Ze-dong Propose“Sinicized Marxism”?

In the theoretical circle, there exist different views on the reasons why MAO Ze-dong proposed sinicized Marxism, such as those of struggle for leadership, foundation for new theories, and exploitation of it as a tool. It is not so justifiable to attribute this proposition to certain single reason simply. This can not reflect the historical necessity of such scientific proposition. From the examination of history, such proposition by MAO was not due to only factor, but the matter of time.
