On Adaptation of An Unofficial History of Female Celestials to The Romance of Three Kingdoms

  • The book An Unofficial History of Female Celestials was an influential novel in the early period of Qing Dynasty around Jingnan Event. Its creation was greatly influenced by the novels and history of predecessors. In terms of novel, it was mainly influenced by The Romance of Three Kingdoms. The Shuhan orthodoxy thought was the prototype of Jianwen's legitimacy as an emperor in this book. And the image LV Lv was described after that of ZHUGE Liang. Meanwhile, the fabrication style in The Romance of Three Kingdoms has deeply affected this work. Such influences are the key to the interpretation of its popularity in early Qing Dynasty
