    Rapid Determination of U, Th, W and Mo in Geological Samples by ICP-MS

    • The experiment is to find out a method for the rapid determination of U, Th, W and Mo in geological samples by ICP-MS. The findings show that the detection limits are respectively 0.03μg/g, 0.02μg/g, 0.05μg/g, and 0.03μg/g. The relative standard deviation of the four elements is all below 10%. The measured results are consistent with the recommended results. Hence, this method is suitable for rapid determination of U, Th, W and Mo of geological samples in large quantities.
