On the Academic Innovation of University Faculty through Informal Learning

Abstract
The informal study is an important way of teachers' academic innovation in universities. It can enrich university teachers' insight and imagination, improve their comprehensive interdisciplinary ability, develop their systematic knowledge, strengthen their autonomous academic capacity, and promote their consciousness of cooperation, reflection and criticism, which is of great significance for the improvement of university teachers' academic innovation. In order to help such teachers to conduct their informal study and achieve the academic innovation, our society, government and universities should make unanimous effort from the three aspects: shift of learning conception, optimization of learning environment and improvement of study.
